Both the English Civil War and the Glorious Revolution brought
various ideas regarding major changes in government. These events
are commonly known as the age of enlightenment, a period in which
European politics, philosophy, science, and communications were

eyes of philosophers, the current events of the English Civil War and
the revolution had a huge impact on the development of each man’s
